7/31/2019 Dear Mr. Mathison, When my mum first gave me this book I thought it would be just another boring book. After I read it I imediatly took my words back. I don't really enjoy poetry but I decided to read it because, well why not. If I do ever decide to read poetry I always choose some of Erin Hanson's works but I also love the poetry that you have included in this book. When I read the first few pages I imediately fell in love. You could almost feel what the author was feeling while writing this and to me that's what all that poetry is about. I also enjoyed how when you first read this you think that its a poem and it's well.. . deep. But then when you are on reading the poems you see that they're all connected in a way, like the roots of a tree. First you think of the poems as though they are individuals.
