Sounds of a Cricket is the first book published on Amazon by MJMPublications. It is a collection of poems written by Michael from the ages of 15-21.    Each section of poems is prefaced with a picture of Michael at the age of writing.    Each poem is followed by a lined page so that the reader may create their own picture or poem.

   After showing off his book, and getting inquiries about the publication process, Michael created this blog post. Book Publishing is a tutorial, from start to finish, to get a book published in Canada. 
    Michael was then inspired to include this tutorial into his book. Other ideas flowed into his mind as the spirit of education took over.
    "What if people would like to know how to construct a poem?" he asked, and then wrote instructions for rhyming poetry.
   "This is not the only kind of poetry that I have in this book." he mused, and then wrote instructions for free flowing poetry.
   In a playful spirit, Michael reached back into his past and wrote about the history of, and instructions for Dada poetry.
    Michael then decided to help with the generation of ideas and rhymes by guiding the reader in the process of creating a Word Cloud.
   He created a Dada version of his poem Always Magic on his blog for visitors to play with. You can find it here.

With all of these elements coming together, Michael realized that his book could be divided into three sections.    "Read one" refers to Michael's original poems, that are there for the reader to enjoy and analyze.    "Write one" refers to all the instructions Michael created for the construction of poetry.    "Share one" refers to sharing their creations online, in print, and in person.    Michael's nostalgic expedition into the past morphed into a teaching tool. It's look had to change.    Interactive Poetry should look like a school project. It should be presented by "Cricket", Michael's nickname in high school and University.    A copy of this book can be purchased from Amazon by clicking on the book.

During the time Michael was writing his poetry, he was also writing about a teenage magician named Mitchell.    These short stories can be found in this book, "I'll Try Anything Once", and can be purchased from Amazon by clicking on the book.

   Michael then turned his attention to stories he had brewing in his mind about Bear, his dog. He noticed that Bear had a unique way of looking at things. With this in mind he created four children's books.

    Michael desired these books to be small and resistant to destruction from small hands. As yet Michael has not been able to find a suitable venue able to produce the desired books.
